Mike Alton, the President of Newco and a US Air Force veteran, has a rich history in the NDT industry with over 31 years of experience in the field. He has acquired vast amounts of NDT expertise while employed in the Paper Mill Industry, Fossil Fuel Plants, Commercial and Military Aviation Repair Stations, and Aircraft Manufacturing Facilities. Mike’s proficiency and knowledge of multiple NDT modalities, as well as the broad network of associates he has built in the business, produced a natural transition into sales of NDT equipment. He enjoyed 9 years as an accomplished sales management professional for GE Inspection Technologies, a world leader in advanced non-destructive imaging. His accomplishments include Level III Certifications in RT, UT, MT, PT, and ET. In addition, he also holds an Airframe and Powerplant license.
His vision and ambition as the President of Newco is to fulfill the needs of the growing NDT Industry. He strives to gain and maintain extensive knowledge of all products and demonstrate a fully supportive role. Mike intends to provide solutions for his customers and vendors, demonstrating the flexibility and creativity necessary for establishing new ground. By bridging the gap which exists between manufacturers and channel partners, Newco is working to change the perception of how a channel partner should function. Technical Sales Manager Florida
Working in the NDT industry for 22 years. Started with Agfa as a specialist for Structurix equipment and was responsible for supporting the entire Structurix processor product line from Canada to Chile. General Electric acquired Agfa NDT in 2004 where he continued to support the Structurix product line that included training and supporting Field Service engineers and customers who worked on that product line from Canada to Chile. In 2006, Al started working with the Phoenix product line which is the product line of GE Measurement & Control Solutions for micro- and Nano focus 2D industrial X-ray inspection as well as industrial computed tomography (micro CT and Nano CT), 3D failure analysis, 3D metrology and inline CT. When he left GE in October 2014, he was one of four certified level 1 trainers in the world which allowed him to train and certify Field Service Engineers that work on this equipment. As of 2014, he is the territory manager for Newco providing NDT Solutions to Newco’s customers in Florida and other territories. Additionally, Al handles all of the Service Contracts nationwide.

Degreed metallurgical engineer with professional PE. Started career with Bethlehem Steel where received five level threes in 1972. Moved to Florida to work with Westinghouse Nuclear as manager of materials which include NTD, welding, material selection, and coatings. Was level three for the Quality Assurance group. Moved to Martin Marietta as manager of quality labs which included all NDT requirement. Was level three for missile division in Orlando FL. Joined Newco to cover sales in the Florida region. Started ITF Inc. to manufacture industrial waste treatment, power coating and cleaning systems. After first retirement consulted with Siemens Power Systems to do failure analysis and NDT. Returned to Newco to cover Florida and design and build waste treatment equipment.
Chief Operating Officer
Vincent Alfano, a native of Birmingham Alabama, has been a business owner and executive since the late 1970’s. Using the skills acquired in pursuit of an Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Alabama Birmingham, he founded and co-owned Computer Engineers, Inc. from 1978 to 1984 when desktop computing was in its infancy. Vince led custom computer programming teams creating many financial solutions for business entrepreneurs. Through many business endeavors since, he has performed many duties through the ranks of several of his more recent companies building skillsets and gaining a better understanding of the needs of his employees, customers, business partners and business associates. Vince joined the team at Newco at the request of Mike Alton, it’s new owner and president to help position Newco, Inc. as one of the new leaders in the NDT industry. Vince is married to his wife Catherine of 43 years. He has 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Vince enjoys spending time with family, fishing and tending to his vineyard in his free time.

Provides NDT solutions for customers in AL, GA, MS and TN. Prior to joining Newco, Chris worked in art and archaeological labs performing radiography, spectroscopy, and microscopy. As special faculty at Clemson University Restoration Institute, Chris had worked with Newco on projects including the conservation of the H.L. Hunley (italics) and George Flagg Whites Harriet Aiken (name in italics) painting. Previous employment includes the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, the Brookyln Museum of Art and the Kaman-Kalehoyuk archaeological dig in Turkey. He holds a M.A. from Buffalo State University, a B.S., and B.F.A. from University of Wyoming.
Technical Sales Manager Tire Industry (Nationwide)
Worked in the tire industry since 1988, mostly in the final finish area of a tire plant. She has a bachelor’s degree from University of Akron in Electrical Engineering and a MBA from Malone College. She started her career as an engineer working for Akron Standard which manufactures Tire Uniformity and Balancer equipment. She then worked at Allen Bradley programming PLC’s for various AB customers. After leaving AB, she worked as a Project Manager for LumenX, now known as Yxlon. She left Yxlon to join Newco as an Account Manager. Liz specializes in upgrading all Tire X-Ray Inspection Systems to the latest technology as well as helping these customers with any other NDT needs that they may have. Liz also represents Yxlon for new Tire Inspection Systems in North America.
Technical Sales Manager Northeast
Hank Rowe spent 17 years in the US Navy and retired being lead instructor at the Navys NDT school in Great Lakes IL. After this went to work for XRI Testing as a shift lead and responsible inspector in all methods. Then promoted to operation manager and built and opened brand new lab with 5 x-Ray rooms quickly expanding to 11 operational x-Ray rooms some automated some still manual also the first commercial lab to qualify CR for structural inspection of F22 components.
